Onith Company is a Republic Special Forces Military guild. We aim to provide a military structured roleplay experience and tell stories that best make it feel like that!
Can I join OC as a Jedi?
Technically, yes. Our requirements for jedi characters is that they must be at least the Jedi rank of knight. They MUST also be enlisted or willing to enlist in the military. This means they have to respect rank, and everything else that comes with being military. They are also expected to hold the orders of Republic High Command over the orders of the Jedi Council.
What is the level requirement to join?
There is no level requirement, you can be level 1, level 65, or anywhere in between!
I've never roleplayed before, can I join?
Yes! We accept members of all levels of roleplay. We are happy to help new roleplayers ease into it and join us in having a great time!
Will I be able to keep my character's rank if I join?
No. Upon joining OC your character is granted the rank of Corporal, our lowest rank so that you may work your way up the ranks, earning them!
How does Onith Company approach the Zakuul Conflict?
At this time, Onith Company takes a passive stance on the Zakuul. The Republic currently has a peace treaty and is required to pay tribute to the Zakuul, and Onith Company is regretfully forced to accept that. They may do no harm to the Eternal Empire, but will patiently wait until the day they can. Members of the Outlander's alliance are to be considered traitors and defectors until further notice.
How does rank work in Onith Company?
Rank in Onith Company is expected to be respected by your character. For more information, please see the OC forums.
Does Onith Company have uniform restrictions?
Yes, Onith Company uses Black/Medium Blue as our colors, and that is required on all field and work outfits. There are also restrictions on what armor types you can use, but we leave it to you to mix and match. There is more information on our forums, but the general rule of thumbs is "does this look like Republic armor?" if yes, then it's probably okay.
What are the other requirements to join OC?
We do not have age requirements for OC, only maturity requirements. When you join you are given the rank of Corporal, which is considered a probationary rank. If you are accepted into OC and fail to be mature, or are disrespectful, then we withhold the right to remove you from the guild. You are expected to understand that IC actions have IC consequences, and follow the rules set forth by the Galaxy alliance here.
What are the requirements to become an officer in OC?
Officers are chosen through consideration of quite a few conditions. You must have worked your way up the ranks through roleplay and be familiar with members of the guild, you have to have sufficient knowledge of star wars lore (We don't expect you to be an expert, just familiar), you have to regularly attend events and be willing to host your own events, and you must generally be respectful and understand what we expect of all our members!
Is this a OOC realistic/hardcore military guild?
No. In OC we attempt to balance realism with fun. We aim for this guild to be an enjoyable experience for those who aren't familiar with IRL military, as well as those who are! We do enforce things like uniform, respect, and chain of command, but our ranks and organizational system does not perfectly mimic a real life military.
